Vigneti del Vulture Pipoli Aglianico del Vulture 2024 captures the remarkable character of this extraordinary terroir, where volcanic soils, mountain elevations and generations of winemaking tradition come together. Rich in character yet beautifully balanced, this expressive Italian red wine reveals the depth, elegance and unmistakable personality of Aglianico, inviting you to discover a lesser-known treasure of southern Italy.

The vineyards surrounding Acerenza climb to elevations of up to 800 metres above sea level, where mineral-rich volcanic soils and the contrasts of the mountain environment shape the distinctive character of the grapes. Carefully hand-harvested and selected, the Aglianico undergoes a thoughtful vinification process designed to preserve its natural expression. Ten months of maturation, partly in stainless steel and partly in previously used oak barrels, brings together vibrant fruit, gentle spice and refined structure. The result is a beautifully composed Aglianico del Vulture DOC that balances the intensity of its volcanic origins with an inviting sense of harmony and sophistication.

Tasting Notes

A brilliant ruby-red colour with violet reflections introduces an expressive bouquet of ripe cherry and sour black cherry, delicately layered with warm spice and subtle vanilla.
